A vintage large pitcher from Hornsea Pottery’s iconic Bronte range, designed by celebrated British ceramic designer John Clappison and launched in 1972.
Featuring a rich, high-gloss brown glaze and Bronte’s distinctive raised geometric pattern in softly varied shades of green, this sculptural pitcher is unmistakably Hornsea.
Originally designed for serving milk or cream, it also makes a beautiful water jug, small vase or display piece alongside other vintage Hornsea tableware.
In excellent vintage condition with minor crazing visible inside and gentle age-related variation to the exterior glaze. Please review all photographs carefully, as they form part of the condition description.
