A vintage Hornsea Pottery set of two cups and saucers from the iconic Bronte range, designed by celebrated British ceramic designer John Clappison and launched in 1972.
Named after Yorkshire’s famous Bronte family, the range features a rich, high-gloss brown glaze with a raised geometric pattern in softly varied shades of green. Its sculptural surface, earthy palette and architectural repeat make Bronte one of Hornsea’s most recognisable tableware designs.
This set includes two cups and two matching saucers, ready for coffee, tea or display among a collected table setting.
In vintage condition, with a rich high-gloss finish and crisp patterning. No chips or cracks - but crazing as expected with age. Please note one cup has a lot more crazing than the other.
