A vintage milk jug from Hornsea Pottery’s iconic Bronte range, designed by celebrated British ceramic designer John Clappison and launched in 1972.
The jug features Bronte’s rich, high-gloss brown glaze and distinctive raised geometric pattern in softly varied shades of green. Its clean shape, squared handle and sharply angled pouring spout give it that unmistakable 1970s Hornsea character.
Originally designed for serving milk or cream, it can also be used as a small vase, utensil vessel or sculptural display piece.
