Hornsea Cat Money Box | Orange

A familiar face from the Hornsea archives.

Originally designed by Hornsea Design Director John Clappin in 1967, this wonderfully watchful cat has been redrawn from the original illustrations and brought back to life by Magpie in collaboration with the Hornsea Museum.

Finished in classic Hornsea orange and black, the ceramic money box captures all the graphic charm and personality that made the original designs so collectible. Equal parts useful object and little piece of British design history, it looks just as good sitting on a shelf as it does guarding your loose change.
