About Magpie x Hornsea Backgammon Plant Pot in Teal, Small
Backgammon pattern in teal, ready for the plant shelf. This small Hornsea pot holder is made from hand-glazed stoneware and comes in a matching cardboard gift box.
Those teal shapes have their roots in John Clappison's circa-1967 designs. Working from the Hornsea Museum's original artwork, Magpie created new moulds for the stacking plant-pot range and brought back authentic period colours. The small Backgammon holder gives a compact plant a patterned surround, with the slight individuality that comes from hand glazing.
