A complete vintage tea set from Hornsea Pottery’s iconic Contrast range, designed by Martin Hunt in 1974.

Finished in a velvety chocolate brown glaze, each piece is defined by the signature black band with a fine white stripe—a bold, architectural detail that wraps the forms with precision. The interiors are finished in bright white, creating a striking visual contrast true to the name.

Crafted from Hornsea’s durable Vitramic stoneware, this set was designed for everyday use—heat-resistant, tactile, and built to last.

Includes teapot, five cups and matching saucers.

In excellent vintage condition, with clean interiors and rich, even glaze throughout.
