Their slightly eccentric expressions and individual hand-finished details give the pair enormous character.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eDesigned as a matched mantel pair, the lions face inward when displayed together. Substantial in size and presence, they make a striking addition to a mantel, sideboard or collected interior.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eBoth lions present beautifully, with surface wear, glaze variation and signs of age consistent with more than a century of life. One lion has a shallow surface chip and a fine line crack to the underside of the base. It has been on display as is for some time with no issues and the integrity of the lion does not appear to be affected other than the appearance of the base which is not visible on display.
